Toile Quilt for Rachel

This is the Inspiration above from Kaffe Fassett's Museum Quilt book. His quilt was inspired by a quilt made in 1801 signed by Sarah. He calls this Sarah's Pastel Quilt.

I made the quilt below for my youngest sister Rachel. It was done by Easter Sunday. The eggs the kids dyed went so well with it. The quilt reminds me of Rachel youthful and romantic.

Last week was Spring Break finally. It didn't looked like it with the snow and all. I rented all six seasons of Northern Exposure from the library and sewed, cleaned, and filed the mounds of homework. The children and I have been accumulating so much I don't want to throw away. Break is over and so here goes chaos again.
