In a cozy cottage on the outskirts of a sheltered village there once lived a little girl who was quiet and good.
No one noticed her, until one day she appeared in a bright red cape with ribbons to fasten the hood under her chin.
Now, people turned their heads on the village street and everyone delighted to see her. From that day on, she was known as Little Red Riding Hood.

Oh my. I love the storytelling interspersed with the quilt blocks. And that dragon, in the cabin...I am speechless and delighted. I really like the house element as a grounding place for Red. I like having her come from somewhere supportive, and surrounding. You have that too, you know. We are surrounding you in love. Don't wander alone in the woods and convince yourself that we are not nearby. We are very close. And you can charm any wolf, you lovely girl.
But the quilt, I'm so excited. I must interrupt my comment to look more closely.
Oh yes. Most excellent. The peacock roof is also particularly splendid. The variation of tones and atmosphere in the Red Riding Hood fabric is also very cool. I am enjoying the evolution, and trying to keep it a surprise for my non-reader, sleeping, tiny girl. We love you.
